Reflective Essay: What Adults can Learn from Kids

Hello! In this blog I'll talk about what I think about "What Adults can Learn from Kids." I like that topic. I can think of so many reasons. First of all, kids have more imagination than adults. Also, they think of more ideas. There are many things that adults can learn from kids.

First, I will talk about my reaction to this video I saw. She has a blog, too.

A girl named Adora Svitak explained what adults can learn from kids. Her speech was awesome. Everything she said felt right to me. Adults can learn many things from kids.

I think kids have more imagination than adults. Adults are a little too realistic, and that blocks them from getting new ideas. For example, kids have many inventions, such as Caine's Arcade. Adults shouldn't force kid to do something; kids have the skills to do things by themselves, just as much as adults.

I also think kids are much more creative than adults. Most things kids designed are unique. Adults should look at kids from a different perspective. Adults shouldn't always try to fix kids. Kids can sometimes think of something better than adults. Sometimes, not being too realistic can help you think of better ideas. Adults can learn that kids have many ideas and dreams.

Hello! In this blog I'll tell you about Joseph Kony. A YouTuber named Jason Russell posted a viral video on the internet about Joseph Kony. Joseph Kony is a terrible African criminal that kidnaps African kids and forces them to do bad things. Boys had to fight, and girls had to be sex slaves. Jason wanted to make Kony famous, not to celebrate him, but to make him a well-knowned criminal. Jason made an organization called Invisible Children. Kony made an army called LRA (Lord's ResistAnce Army). Making Kony famous is a very good idea. Let me tell you many reasons why. First of all, it is a very good idea because it will alert people. When they know about Joseph Kony, they will start supporting Invisible Children. Without the citizens' support, they will never be able to catch Kony. If they don't find Kony, something terrible will happen. It is very important to tell people what's going on. If you don't, you won't get their support. Kony 2012 is a great idea. Also, it was a good idea because if we support Invisible Children, we would be able to save everyone captured bt the LRA. It will stop cruelty caused by Joseph Kony, and there won't be any trouble from him from now on. Joseph Kony is a very bad person. If we don't stop him, he will continue on doing bad things. Stopping Kony is very important. It will save many people's lives. Some people might say that it is a bad idea, because it will make citizens worried. However, alerting the citizens is a good thing. If you think it will make them worried, well, think of it this way: would you like it if there was a tsunami coming and noone alerted you? It's the same as telling people about Kony. Citizens want to help. They want to stop Joseph Kony. People shouldn't discourage them. Especially when there's a person like Joseph Kony around. It is better to be alerted than to be clueless. Some people might also say that innocent citizens shouldn't be involved with the Invisible Children. What kind of idea is that? The poor, innocent African kids are being treated unfairly, and we're not doing anything about it. We have to act. We have to help the Invisible Children, and save the kids. Would you like it if Kony is making kids do bad things? We have to be fair. We have to stop Joseph Kony. Joseph Kony is a bad person. He's very unfair. He keeps slaves, forcing them to fight. Many more terrible things will happen if we don't stop him. I want everyone to agree with me. We have to support Invisible Children. We have to stop Joseph Kony. Some people might say that it is a bad idea because it will make citizens worried. However, it is not true. Alerting the citizens is a good thing. If you think it will make them worried, well, think of it this way: would you like it if there was a stunami coming and noone alerted you? NO! It's the same thing as alerting about Joseph Kony. One time, a family went camping. The family had one son. They went into the cabin, and the bedroom was upstairs. While they were going up the stairs, they saw really scary and ugly faces on the picture frames. The son started getting scared, but the dad started telling him to man up. They started telling jokes about the pictures, and they laughed.

The next day they realized that they weren't pictures. They were actually windows.

3 Things about Jonas

HI! I'm Jonas. I'll tell you three things about myself. I travel, I like electronics, and I like scary stories. You probably don't know me well, but after this you would understand me. 

First of all, I travel a lot. Especially to Hawaii. I know. You'll be like, "You're so lucky!" It's actually kind of normal to me now. I travel there every winter because it's too cold in other places. I like going there because I just forget about everything and relax. It's my favorite feeling. Hawaii is an awesome place to be.

Secondly, I really want to get an itouch 4th generation. You might think that i want an iphone, but I don't like phones. I'm too irresponsible for phones. I just leave the somewhere and forget about them. I have an itouch 3rd generation, but I want one with a camera. I think itouch 4th generation is better than itouch 3rd generation. 4th generation has a lot of abilities, such as camera, facetime, etc. I'm not responsible with phones, but I'm very responsible with an itouch. I had the same one for 4 years now.
